Real Talk was created through a partnership with Chicago Vibrant Neighborhoods Collective (CVNC) and SVP Chicago. We share a belief that strong, well-supported community-based nonprofits are key to lasting change.
Founded by former Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Chicago Vibrant Neighborhoods Collective (CVNC) builds stronger, more resilient neighborhoods by amplifying the power of homegrown organizations. CVNC connects community-based leaders with resources, tools, and networks to strengthen organizations’ financial health, strategy and governance, and systems for measuring and communicating impact.
SVP Chicago empowers philanthropists and community-based nonprofits to create greater impact, together. Through funding, strategic support, and partnership, we help community-based nonprofits deepen their impact—while transforming the way philanthropy works through a trust-based approach that centers relationships, shares power, and invests in what communities say they need.
